PECO Network of Exelon Women & The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation celebrate Women’s History Month! Join us for an informal career fair in the Free Library Main Lobby with workforce development partners across the region and an inspiring panel on the 4th floor spotlighting women leaders from PECO, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), Philadelphia Water Department (PWD), and Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) as they share their journeys, challenges, and successes in careers where women have been historically underrepresented.

With millions of in-person visits and millions more online annually.

Our Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting this mission. Through the generosity of our donors, partners, and volunteers, we are able to fund essential library services and innovative programs that reach every corner of Philadelphia. As we navigate the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century, the Free Library remains committed to being a beacon of learning and a place where everyone is welcome. We are continually evolving to meet the needs of our diverse community, embracing new technologies, and expanding our digital offerings to ensure that knowledge and information are accessible to all.
